Dedicated volunteers providing nationally certified K9 search and rescue services to Northwest Florida and beyond.
All-Volunteer, All Heart
Legacy K9 Search Team is a 501(c)(3), all-volunteer organization that provides emergency response services to those in need. Our members are dedicated and undergo year-round training in a variety of terrains, including both urban and wilderness environments and in all weather conditions.
We collaborate with law enforcement agencies to respond to search and rescue and recovery needs as requested. Our K9 teams are certified in specialties such as Airscent, Trailing, and Human Remains Detection.
In addition to K9 training, team members are extensively trained in areas such as wilderness navigation, search and rescue techniques, radio communication, crime scene management, and searcher survival.
